Alma Louise Dutschmann of Oglesby, TX passed away Wednesday April 27th in Gatesville, TX at the age of 79.
She was born June 18th, 1942 in Gatesville, TX to James and Evelyn (Jackson) Roedler. She married John (Winfred) Dutschmann on May 30th, 1959 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Waco, TX. They celebrated 45 years of marriage until his passing on December 7th, 2004. Alma was fortunate enough to have another companion in her later years with Eugene Patterson and spent nine years together enjoying each other's company.
Alma attended Midway High School. She worked for many years at the Waco Apparel Company in Waco, T&D Systems in Fort Worth and her last job was with the McGregor I.S.D. working as a bus monitor for the special needs kids. She also worked various other odd jobs throughout the years and typically tried to stay active.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Winfred, brother Jimmy Roedler and a son Ronnie Dutschmann.
She is survived by her three sons, Donnie Dutschmann of Crawford, Greg Dutschmann and wife Randi of Crawford and John Dutschmann and wife Terri of Moody; sister Jo Marie Snider and husband Robert of McGregor; Grandchildren, Connie Dutschmann and companion Justen McCune, Jeremy Dutschmann and wife Stephanie, Shelbi Wilkins and husband Brady, Korie Dutschmann, Garrett Dutschmann, Rylie Dutschmann and Tristan Moyer; Great Grandchildren, Carlie Vrana, Brady Dutschmann and Kacey Dutschmann. Roedler nieces Mindy Hoehn, Amanda Franks, Jennifer Hobday and Angela Saldivar and numerous nieces and nephews on the Dutschmann side that she dearly loved. She also had a special relationship with Eugene's sons and daughter-in-laws, Steve & Kellie Patterson and Keith & Laurie Patterson.
Pallbearers are Keith Patterson, Steve Patterson, Jeremy Dutschmann, Garrett Dutschmann, Brady Wilkins and Justin McCune.
