Barbara Sue Tanner, 88 of Gatesville, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Gatesville, Texas. Graveside service will be Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Moody Cemetery in Moody, Texas.

Barbara was born on October 6, 1936, to William Alford and Jennie Rosalee (Naylor) Fletcher. Moody, Texas. She graduated from Moody High School in 1955. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Moody, and a homemaker. She enjoyed decorating and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Perry Tanner, son, Paul Roberts, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

Survivors include her brother, Cal Alford Fletcher and wife, Delicia of Fort Worth, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews.
