Beatrice Louise Fletcher, age 81 of Moody, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 surrounded by her family. Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023 with The Reverend Mickey Fugitt officiating at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas.

Beatrice was born on August 25, 1941 to Boyd and Fannie (Nix) Emmons. She was a longtime resident of Moody. Beatrice graduated from Moody High School in 1960. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Moody. Beatrice married the love of her life, Eugene D. Fletcher on February 18, 1960. They were together for 56 year. He preceded her in death in 2016. She worked for Baylor Scott and White in Temple as an office clerk for 25 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and spending time with all of her grandchildren. Beatrice and Eugene always loved to go dancing at SPJST Halls. Most of all, she enjoyed just being with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Charles Emmons and Earl Emmons.

Survivors include her son, William Fletcher and wife, Chris of Moody; daughter, Dana Beaumont and husband, Matt of Moody; grandchildren: Robin Fletcher, Misti Jones, Kristi Richter, Jason Fletcher, Eric Roberts and Karli Fletcher; 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
