Beverly Jean Stonehouse Burgess, 85, passed away April 16, 2021. A celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, Texas, officiated by Dustin Gist.

Beverly was born on November 16, 1935 in Renton, Washington to James Robert Stonehouse and Jane (Nelson) Stonehouse. She married the love of her life, Bobby Gene Burgess, on December 15, 1962 and they celebrated 58 years of marriage this past December. Beverly worked for Smead, in McGregor, Texas for 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed "family over everything", her pet Chihuahuas, cooking, cleaning, and the occasional vacation.

Preceding Beverly in death were parents, James and Jan Stonehouse; granddaughter, Brigette Brown Hughes; brothers, Bob Stonehouse, Dennis Stonehouse, Meloin Stonehouse; sisters, Alberta Austin, and Dovey Stonehouse.

Survivors include husband, Bobby Gene Burgess; daughters, Linda Dyess and husband, Allan, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; Michelle Guerra and husband, Mike, of Moody, Texas, Susie Shugart and husband, Scott, of Moody, Texas; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Beverly will be dearly missed by the many who loved her.
