Brenda Kaye Bovee, age 64 of McGregor, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at McGregor Cemetery with Reverend A. C. Painter officiating.

Brenda was born on February 14, 1958 to Kenneth and Sandra (Cameron) Hartsell in Gatesville, Texas. She was a longtime resident of McGregor. Brenda married the love of her life, Tommy Bovee in 1976. She retired from Smead Manufacturing 1985, where she worked as Binder Maker. Brenda enjoyed baking and shopping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her all of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Cecilia Ann Hartsell.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Tommy Bovee of McGregor; son, Mark Bovee of Gatesville; grandchildren: Stetson Bovee and wife, Hannah of Gatesville, Rhiannon Bovee , King of Gatesville, Jordon Bovee of Gatesville, Harley Bovee of Gatesville, great-grandchildren: Serenity Weiss of Belton and Jacob Bovee of Gatesville; Allie, Amos and Riley of Gatesville, special friends, Judy Herring and Barbara Dawson; several nieces and nephews.

Services are under the direction of Cole Funeral Home.
