Cecelia Ann (King) Pruett, age 73, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in McGregor, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Moody Cemetery in Moody with Chaplain Gary Baxley officiating.Ann was born January 17, 1942 in Rosebud, Texas to Clifford A. and Harriett (Pierce) King. She was a longtime resident of Moody. Ann retired from First National Bank in Moody in 2007.She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford A. and Harriett King; daughter, Teri Fries; grandson, Nathan Sones; and special friend, McKay Rice, Jr.Survivors include her daughter, Holly Knowles and husband, Ron of Lorena; grandsons, Jacob Sones and wife, Nicole of Waco, Cameron Strong and wife, Elizabeth of Mons, Belgium; granddaughters, Emily Strong of Lorena, and Allyson Knowles of Lorena; great-grandson, Gavin Sones of Waco; son-in-law, Stephen Fries of New Britain, CT; dear friends, Linda Ganong of Fort Worth, Ann Dickenson of Moody and Chip Rice and wife, Rhonda of Burleson. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice of Waco and Temple, the staff of Westview Manor Nursing Home in McGregor and Ellen Welch for the love and care shown in the past few months.
