Dorothy D. Geltemeyer, 91, of McGregor, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Saint Paul Lutheran Memorial Park in Crawford, Texas with the Reverend Christine Farrow officiating. Miss Geltemeyer was born on December 21, 1925 in Plainview, Texas to Fred and Emma (Hedt) Geltemeyer. She loved to sew and make quilts. Miss Geltemeyer was a lifetime resident of McGregor and a member of Zion Luther Church of McGregor. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ornel Weise and brother, Roland Geltemeyer.Survivors include her brother, Fred Geltemeyer, Jr.; nephew, Robert Geltemeyer and his wife, Amanda and their children, Abrianna and Haley; niece, Nancy West and her husband, Steve and their two children; nephew, James Geltemeyer; niece, Mary Weise and nephew, Jerry Weise.
