Doug Hinton, 62, of McGregor, Texas passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 in Moody, Texas. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 in McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Cole Funeral Home McGregor, Texas.

Doug was born on August 5, 1958 to Harlan and Billie (Moore) Hinton in Waco, Texas. He attended McGregor schools and was a longtime resident. Doug worked as a construction worker with Rice Construction. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing golf, and listening to music. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Billie Hinton.

Survivors include his twin sons, Kirk Douglas Hinton and James Douglas Hinton, both of Waco; sisters, Gayle Campos and husband, Eswell, of Moody, Stephanie Englutt and husband, Dustin; ex-wife and longtime friend, Micki Wilder of Waco; niece, Juli Campos of Moody; and nephews, Matt and Stelyn.
