Ella Mae Mars, 89, passed away at Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas March 15, 2014.Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Bethany Baptist Church in Eddy, Texas with Rev. Eddie P. Johnson officiating.Viewing hours will be from 5pm to 9pm Monday, March 17, 2014 at Cole Funeral Home Moody Chapel, 304 8th St, Moody, TX.Ella was born December 12, 1924 in Hewitt, Texas to Nep and Minnie (Stover) Johnson. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Ella loved to gather during holidays with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Arthur Harm Mars.Survivors include her daughter, Eva Masey and husband Harold of Odessa; grandchildren, Shannon Masey Elrod of Garden Dale, TX and Lisa Masey of Dallas, Texas and numerous other relatives and friends.
