Eula C. Adcock, 94, of McGregor, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in McGregor. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Post Oak Cemetery, in Oglesby.Mrs. Adcock was born on June 29, 1921, in McGregor, to James Beason and Ellen Leona (Riley) Guinn. She married Jesse Brown Adcock on April 28, 1936 in Waco, and they celebrated over 72 years together until his death in 2008. Eula loved flower arranging, ceramics, quilting, and embroidery, doll collecting, and camping. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.Mrs. Adcock was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Gene Guinn, sisters; Margaret Bartels, Mabel Bartels, and Nadine Scott, and grandson, Rick Mann.Survivors include her son, Eddie Adcock; daughters, Jeanetta Sommerfeld, of Mineral Wells, Anita Burgess and husband, James, of McGregor, and Connie Reeves and husband, Layton, of McGregor; brother, Bud Guinn and wife, Gail, of McGregor, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great- grandchildren.
