Eunice Coleman Vick passed away May 3, 2015. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor, Texas. Mr. James R. Haney and Reverend Terry Johnston will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. Eunice was born to Albert Wallace and Clara Brown Coleman on March 23, 1925, on the family farm south of Oglesby, Texas. She attended Oglesby schools and graduated in May 1942. On May 22, 1947 she and R.L. Vick were married in Burnet, Texas and made their home in McGregor.Eunice united with the First Baptist Church in Oglesby at an early age. At the time of her death she was a member of the First Baptist Church in McGregor. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L., her sister, Maurine Vick, and her niece, Mary Kathryn Ward. She is survived by two nieces, Gae Woodruff and Grace McIntyre; and three nephews, Billy Ed Vick, Warren Vick and John Robert Wales.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Post Oak Cemetery Association in Oglesby or First Baptist Church of McGregor.
