Inola Gaydos, age 86, was born August 20, 1935 in Octavia, Oklahoma to Ambrose Washington Blackwell and Thelma Jewel (Caldwell) Blackwell. She graduated from Smithville High School. Inola was-employed by the United States Air Force, as a civil servant for over 20 years before retiring.
Inola was-well known for her good cooking, was generous to family and friends, and loved to laugh. She enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds in her backyard and was an Arbor Foundation supporter.
Preceding Inola in death were her husband of 54 years, Ronald Gaydos, and her daughter, Ronetta Sue Gaydos; her parents, Ambrose Washington Blackwell and Thelma Jewel Blackwell; her brothers Ambrose Wayne Blackwell and Audory Don Blackwell.
Survivors include her three nephews and their families; Larry Don Blackwell and wife, Dawna Michelle Blackwell of Odessa; Robert Lee Blackwell and wife LaDona Christene Blackwell and their two sons Braden Lee Blackwell and Bryson James Blackwell of Eastland. Vance Wayne Blackwell and wife, Terrie Blackwell of Hamilton; their son Sheldon Wayne Blackwell and wife, Mandy Renee Blackwell, and their two boys Garrison Wayne Blackwell and Hayden Lane Blackwell of Hamilton; their daughter Trina Dell Hawkins and husband, Shane Haralson Hawkins and their three young children, Halle Marie Hawkins, Zane Hank Hawkins, and Heidi Ann Hawkins of Mount Calm.
