Mr. JB Patrick, age 91, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Waco, Texas. Graveside service will be Friday, September 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Kimball Cemetery in Bosque County, Texas. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 21, at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor. JB was born July 2, 1926 to Lester William and Minnie (Wooten) Patrick in Webb City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Borger High School in 1944 and enlisted in the Army October 4, 1944. He served in the Army from 1944-1948. After serving in the Army, he attended Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth. JB married the love of his life, Dorothy Bateman on July 21, 1951. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2017. He was a longtime resident of McGregor and a member of the Church of Christ. He worked 19 years for the Naval Ordnance Plant in McGregor and Central Waste Container in Waco until he retired. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, sons Jimmy B. Patrick and wife Ilene of McGregor, Tommy Patrick and wife, Linda of Elm Mott, and Gerald Patrick and wife, Judy of China Spring; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
