James E Beckner December 14, 1939- March 12, 2024.

James, lifelong resident of Moody, extraordinary farmer, outstanding husband, father,grandfather and great grandfather, left this life for a better one.

Preceded in death by his parents, John T and Estelle Beckner, brothers Kenneth and John E and son, Joel Beckner.

Leaving behind to miss him, wife Eva Jo, daughters Shannon Curry (Mike), Kathy Albright (Marvin), Patty Armstead (Kenneth). Grandson, K. C. Ortiz (Rachel); Granddaughters, Amanda Lynn (John) Jennifer Stepp (John) Krystin (Josh) Desiree Olsen (Jeff) Stephanie Haddock. 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Brother, Raymond Beckner( Kay), numerous nieces and nephews.

Many friends and extended family will miss him. The world has lost a really good man.
Graveside service will be Monday, March 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Cemetery in Moody. Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor.
