Joel Wade Beckner, a good and gentle man passed from this life on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. There will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joel was a lifelong resident of Moody, TX. He graduated from Moody High School in 1992. He worked for Cargill in Temple, where he worked as a Product Scheduler for 20 years.

Joel leaves behind his parents, James and Eva Beckner; three sisters, Shannon Curry (Mike), Kathy Albright (Marvin), and Patty Armstead (Kenneth); nephew, KC Garrett Ortiz (Rachel), nieces, Stephanie Latham, Krystin Norman (Josh), Jennifer Stepp (John), Desiree Olson (Jeff), and Amande Lynn (John); as well as 14 great nieces, and nephews.

Joel will be missed by so many family members and good friends.
