Jose Sepeda Gonzales' Obituary
Jose Sepeda Gonzales, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2024.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p. m. Friday, January 19, 2024 at Cole Funeral Home.
Interment to follow in McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024 at the funeral home.
Joe was born on April 4, 1957 to Martin and Macaria Gonzales in Mathis, Texas.
He was a longtime resident of Lubbock, Texas. Joe grew up working in the cotton fields with his mother and brothers. He was a Jack of all trades man.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Macaria Gonzales, son, Johnny Joe Vasquez, brothers, Beto, Frankie, Demetrio Gonzales.
He is survived by his son, Chris L. Vasquez; grandsons, Nehemiah and Estevan Quezada of Lubbock, Zain Holcomb, Erick Trevino of Lubbock, TX; sisters, Enedelia, Teresa, Otilia, Janie; brothers, Emilio, Martin, Jessie Gonzales of Lubbock, TX; many nieces and nephews.
