Our dear mother/grandmother, Juanita (Janie) Miramontez, 84, of McGregor, sadly passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 08, 2024. Juanita was born March 27, 1939, to Cecil and Consuelo Ramirez in Coolidge, Texas. On July 31, 1957, Juanita married the love of her life, Guadalupe Miramontez; they shared a loving marriage for 24 years before his passing in 1981.

Juanita worked at Smead Manufacturing in McGregor for two years before leaving to become a homemaker. Juanita always put God first in her life; she thanked Him for all He had done. She loved dancing with her late husband, cooking for her family, sewing, gardening, and watching soap operas, especially Bold and the Beautiful. Most of all she loved spoiling all of her grandchildren and gossiping/laughing with the older granddaughters.

Juanita is survived by her sister, Grace Fraga and husband Jim of Waco; brother Frank Ramirez of Bellmead; her children Domingo Miramontez and wife Carol, Adam Miramontez, Lupe Miramontez of McGregor, Caroline Scott and husband Wayne of Robinson, Josie Williams and husband Chad of Elm Mott, Karen Thompson and husband Bill of Hamilton; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and newly born great-great grandson, Abel Aleman. She is also survived by numerous close friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Guadalupe Miramontez, three brothers and one sister and loving daughter, Stella Fogle.

Rosary will be held at Cole Funeral Home, 1113 W 5th St, McGregor, TX 76657 on Wednesday, January 10, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2023, 2pm at McGregor Cemetery 514-592 E Windsor Rd, McGregor, TX 76657.

Pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren.
