Margie Pate of Moody died late Friday afternoon, December 14, 2012, at the age of 82. Viewing will commence at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 18, 2012, at Cole Chapel, 304 Eighth Street, Moody with funeral services beginning at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jon Gartman officiating. Interment will follow in Moody Cemetery. Mrs. Pate was born March 18, 1930, in Mart, Texas, the daughter of the late William Alford and Jennie Rosalee (Naylor) Fletcher. Margie enjoyed sewing and when her daughters were young, she took great pride in making their clothing. She was a member of Eagle Springs Baptist Church.Also preceding her in death were her first husband Claude Brown and her second husband K.O. Pate; two brothers, Mack Fletcher, Boyd Fletcher; two sisters, Buelah Johnson, Amaleta Brown and a sister-in-law, Bernice Fletcher.Survivors include two daughters, Claudia Brown of Gatesville, Linda Kay Fisher of Flat; two brothers, Gene Fletcher and wife Beatrice of Moody, Cal Alford Fletcher and wife Delisa of Colleyville; three sisters, Willie Kaldenbach of Moody, Barbara "Bobbie: Tanner of Gatesville, Patricia Ross and husband Tommy of Troy; three grandchildren, Neal Fisher and wife Mandi, Lesli Walker and Steve Fisher.
