Rita Fawn Luckie, 85, of Oglesby, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. A private visitation has been scheduled and a 3:00 p.m. graveside service for everyone will be in Post Oak Cemetery, Oglesby, Texas officiated by Pat Richardson.

Rita was born in McGirk, Texas on December 14, 1934 to Alvin Tully and Ora (Newton) Tully. She attended school in Shrive, Texas and married Desmond Luckie in 1952. Rita was the owner of Oglesby Food Store for more than 30 years. She was actively involved in her church, The Sixth and Adams Church of Christ, served on the Oglesby City Council for over 20 years, and she spent every moment, she could, with her family and grandchildren.

Preceding Rita in death were her parents; brother, Travis Tully and sister, Elverba Tully.

Survivors include son, Mark Luckie and wife, Elizabeth, of Oglesby; grandchildren, Ashton Combs and husband, Dylan, of Oglesby, Lacie Luckie of Oglesby; great grandchildren, Everleigh Combs of Oglesby; sisters, Myrna Dale O'Neal and husband, M.C., of Priddy, Peggy Menzdorf and husband, Gene, of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
