Mrs. Ruth Ann Bone, age 74, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 in McGregor, Texas. Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at McGregor Cemetery in McGregor. Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor. Mrs. Bone was born June 24, 1943 to Henry Riley and Mary Evelyn (Williams) Rummel in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of McGregor. She graduated from McGregor High School in May 1962. Ruth married the love of her life, James Bone in 1961. She retired from Southwestern Bell/ AT&T in 1999. She was preceded in death by parents; brother, Riley Rummel.Ruth leaves behind to cherish her memories, husband of 55 year, James Bone of McGregor; daughters, Debra Simpson and husband, Glenn of McGregor, Cynthia Sims and husband, Wayne of McGregor; son, James "Buck" Bone, Jr. and wife, Courtney of Dallas; grandchildren:Randy Sims and wife, Kari, Mindy Johnson and husband, Eddie, Dawn Sims, Charles Cody Simpson, Katie Bone, Riley Bone; great-grandchildren: Rowan Sims and Rachelle Johnson; sisters, Joyce Wilson, Pam Leonard; brother, John "Bubba" Green; sister-in-law, Maxine Rummel many nieces, nephews and a host of friend.
