Ursula Marie Knuppel, age 82, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 in Temple, Texas. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Paul Memorial Park in Crawford, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Cole Funeral Home.

Marie was born on November 9, 1941 to Friedrich Wilhelm and Mary Helene (Teichert) Schneider in Hannover, Germany. She was a longtime resident of Crawford, Texas. Marie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Crawford. She worked as a machine operator for Smead Manufacturing for many years. Marie married the love her life, Bobby Charles Knuppel in 1960. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2017. She enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, crocheting, Arts and crafts, fishing and camping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Whitney and husband, Robert of Waco, Texas, son, Kenneth Knuppel and wife, Christy of Crawford, Texas; grandchildren: Amber Yost, Justin Thiele, Kendall Knuppel, Haylie Knuppel, Jake Knuppel, great-grandchildren, Audrey and Sally Yost; special four-legged friend, Puff.
